11. The Grand Wizard.

The Worst Witch is a great movie. Most people haven't even heard of it, let alone seen it. It's from 1989 starring Fairuza Balk. It's a bunch of witches in a witch school and Tim Curry is the Grand Wizard and he's a huge deal. He sings this really great number about Halloween and it's honestly the best. My mom has been having us watch this since we were little. I introduced it to Matt last year. It's still a classic. Happy Halloween!

10. Nosferatu.

I've done a lot of Nosferatu's over the years, but this has to be my favorite one. I was having a really hard time painting him and it took me a lot longer than I anticipated, but it sure is a beaut!

9. Skeletor.

Skeletor is a funny guy. He has this great quote that says: I am not nice, I am not kind, and I am not wonderful! Makes me laugh. I used black light paint on him (as you can see in the third photo). I also learned that it takes a million coats to make that paint look solid. Lesson learned.

8. Arthur Fleck.

Joaquin Phoenix as Arthur Fleck in the newest Joker left an impression. I enjoyed the film a lot and worked on this for a long time. I think it's one of my best pieces as of late. It has a nice varnish on it, which is a new thing for me, that really brings out the undertones and makes the face paint look like it's coming up. I also used a blacklight to show him crying!

7. Steve Harrington.

I enjoyed Stranger Things season 3 a lot. The 80's were awesome. I wanted to pay homage to Steve Harrington in his Scoops Ahoy outfit. In the summer time, I tried the USS Butterscotch and it was a good time.

6. Pumpkin Dwight.

The Office is an amazing show and so I had to pay homage this Halloween season with Dwight Schrute's fantastic pumpkin head.

5. Slappy.

Who could forget one of the most iconic characters of the 90's: Slappy the Dummy from the Goosebumps books?!

4. Scooby Doo & Shaggy.

Let's do what we do best, Scoob, EAT!

3. Elvira.

Mistress of the dark! She's done something different with her eyes, but don't stare for too long. Also, when I scanned this, the pink highlights didn't show up? So, I guess the scanner hates fluorescent pink.

2. Sally.

Couldn't do Jack without including Sally! Sally has a lot more depth than Jack does so this was a challenge in a good way.

1. Jack Skellington.

Drawlloween season is back and I'm fashionably late, but I'm back again! Because I started late, I'm going to just go into November. I'm nervous and excited and hope that this is going to be a lot of fun. HOPEFULLY I'm not too rusty! First up, Jack Skellington from Nightmare Before Christmas!
