My friend, Kirby, posted THIS. Read and laugh!
I just watched Being John Malkovich. I think my mind is going to explode. I also think that this may be John Cusack's best role ever because he was a creep, intriguing and I was also mildly repulsed by him. It's a far cry from heart-throb Lloyd Dobler in Say Anything.
I'm currently reading The Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. My friend, Micaela Ruiz, told me about it. There's one particular passage that I wanted to share:
"And then a scholar said, Speak of Talking. And he answered, saying: You talk when you cease to be at peace with your thoughts; And when you can no longer dwell in the solitude of your heart you live in your lips, and sound is a diversion and a pastime. And in much of your talking, thinking is half murdered. For thought is a bird of space, that in a cage of words may indeed unfold its wings but cannot fly. There are those among you who seek the talkative through fear of being alone. The silence of aloneness reveals to their eyes their naked selves and they would escape. And there are those who talk, and without knowledge of forethought reveal a truth which they themselves do not understand. And there are those who have the truth within them, but they tell it not in words."
I am melancholy. I think it's because it's my favorite time of year, but it doesn't feel like it. I'm trying to psych myself into it though.
My itunes is on shuffle and my favorite Christmas song just came on. It's Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee. I can tell you that with absolute certainty (you too, Matt Benyo! I don't know how I didn't remember that when we were discussing Christmas songs). Now it's onto the Jonas Brothers.
I just completed one of my most ambitious works to date and I will be posting it [eventually]. I am so excited to share it with everyone!
I am a HUGE Project Runway fan. It's the only TV show I watch religiously (I'm not a TV nut like SOMEONE I know *MB/NB*). I must say, I love Mondo! The last episode made me want to hug him! He's a very unique designer and he's quirky and wonderful. This is a tribute to Mondo, but I must say I was impressed with Valerie's words before she left. That was also a tearjerker. I don't cry as much as this seems; just saying. Final 3: Gretchen, April, & Mondo! CALLING IT!

HAHAHA! Dwoww! Funny that you used that nickname!
And the point of the comment, before I saw D's comment and busted out laughing, was to say...
I just now say that first line, that your friend posted about "If Facebook was created..."
That was real funny!
