Been awhile. How you doing, Blogger? I decided to draw a thing for Drawlloween. It's Mia from the newest Evil Dead. I liked the remake a lot. Jane Levy is the best.

I sent a friend of mine some prints and whipped this little card up for him. He lives in England and he received it today! I was really excited and he absolutely loved it! That's what it's all about. I used watercolor, crayons, and microns. I haven't done anything creative in a while because of what is going on with my dad, but this felt good and it felt right. I need to make some more things. For those of you that don't know, my dad, Charles Phelps, has Pancreatic Cancer and he is dying. We found this out last week. I am in a state of perpetual shock. When they were releasing my dad from the hospital, he told me he had to go back to work. Matt and I couldn't believe this. "YOU HAVE CANCER, DAD. YOU CAN'T." He just looked at me, so wearily, and said, "We have no money to pay the bills." You see, my parents live paycheck to paycheck. They need help. My mom has to stay around the house to keep an eye on my dad. Anyway, he begged me to start this gofundme. If you have a moment could you read it? Or if you could, PLEASE, SHARE IT! We have witnessed some true miracles at work here from friends and family, but also from strangers. Never underestimate the impact words can leave on someone. In these terrible times, could you please consider helping me out? Even if you don't know my dad, I assure you, it would mean the world to him.
Help Charles Fight.
Help Charles Fight.

You thought you'd seen something with the Halloween Smorgasboard? Think again. An awesome friend, Jimmy, that I've known since high school reached out and asked if Matt and I would be interested in coming up with something special for him. We dusted off the markers and stepped up to the plate to create the most intricate collaboration piece to date. This thing is packed with REAL horror homages. The amount of time and effort that went into this cannot be overstated, but we were so happy with how it turned out. We took it to Jimmy's house yesterday and he loved it. It was an amazing opportunity and it challenged us in the best way. Click to enlarge!

I just finished the series, Making A Murderer, and I am appalled. Man, I have a lot of RAGE because the system sucks. So does Wisconsin. And this guy: KEN KRATZ. If you like him, support him, endorse him, what have you, I'm assuming you're also a Trump supporter. This joke came to me while I was brushing my teeth. Turns out, it was much funnier in my head, but hey, I made art! Click to enlarge!
