This is an experimental piece for senior studio. This semester my work hasn't really been that cohesive, but at least I'm not being a stick in the mud!
Hey Nikki! Thanks for the compliment! What didn't I use is the better question. I wanted to combine cut paper and paint so I used various cut papers, an envelope for his neck piece, some gold paper, watercolor, acrylic, found object paper (the shoes) and I think that's about it.
Don said experiment so I am!
I learned that not all of this works together very well.
I graduated from the College for Creative Studies with a BFA in illustration. My favorite food of all time is pizza, but I love making art and doing portraits more than anything. If you see something on my blog you like, I can make prints of anything AS WELL AS buttons! Feel free to email me if you see something that catches your eye that you'd like to buy. Have a nice day!
